Rosalia
Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is a Spanish Flamenco/Pop singer. As a teenager, she has worked with traditional as well as popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Her voice is called by no less of an artist than the flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet and with a bite that is similar to older versions. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success after her first album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. The album earned an award from the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami collaborated on songwriting with a variety of producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to sing on her own in the show. Along with taking home three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
